Loading data sources from file
You can create a data source manually using our wizard. Alternatively, you can define one or more data sources in a text file and load those definitions.
Each data source has unique requirements and requires a slightly different format.
Each line contains one definition.
Here’s an example containing a File Share data source and an Exchange data source:
smb2, Domain, User Name, Password, Server, Share, Path, MyDataSet, GB, Default, 0.2, true, false
exchange, Exchange User, Exchange Password, Directory User, Directory Password, https, Exchange Server, Directory Server, Mailbox, MyDa$
The first item in each line identifies the type of data source. The remaining fields are specific to the data source.
You can download a template containing an example for each data source.
