Modifying a data source

To modify a data source:

1. From the main menu select Data Sources

2. Select a data source

3. Select the tab you want to modify:

   • Data Set

   • Mapping (for database sources only)

   • Location

   • Credentials

   • Crawler Settings

4. Click the Click to Modify… button

5. Make your changes

6. Click Save Changes

Note

There are some attributes that you cannot modify. For example, for a File Share data source, you can modify the domain, user name, or password but not the server, share, or path.
