Adding a tag

Introduction

You can add tags whenever you’re working with results in table form.

You can add tags to an item:

  • manually

  • from a group

  • using bulk actions

Adding a tag manually

To add a tag manually:

  1. Find an item to tag

  2. Type a tag into the Add a new tag… entry box

  3. click +Add

Adding a tag from a group

  1. Find an item to tag

  2. Click Common Tags to make sure all the groups are visible

  3. Click the tag you want to add

Common tags

This area initially shows the three most frequently used tags for all users. Each time you add a tag, it appears in the Quickly Tag area, replacing the oldest tag that was there.

Common in these documents

This area shows the most popular tags for all users for only the items that were returned by this search.

Frequently used

This area shows the most popular tags for all users for all items.

Note

If a group has no members, you might not see it.

Adding a tag using bulk actions

  1. Click the check box to the left of each item you want to tag

  2. Click the bulk actions icon

  3. Type a tag

  4. Click Add Tag
