Creating a security group

To create a new security group:

1. From the main menu select System

2. Click Security Groups

3. Click the blue plus icon to create a new security group

4. In the New Security Group dialog, enter the name and description of your new security group

5. Click Create Security Group

6. Add one or more datasets to the group

7. Add one or more users to the group

• roles control what actions the user can take

• security groups control what data the user can see
