Using dashboard breadcrumbs
Introduction
Breadcrumbs have two uses:
They help you to see where you are.
They make it easy to navigate back up after you’ve drilled down.
What are breadcrumbs?
On any dashboard you can drill down by clicking on the charts.
For example, if you click Sensitive Data on the Categories of personal data chart on the Privacy dashboard, the dashboard changes; it will show only sensitive data.

Breadcrumbs help you see where you are
You can drill down multiple times. For example, suppose you’re exploring data on the Data Overview dashboard. You could:
Click 0-10Kb on the Files by Size chart
Click 0-6 Months on the Files by Last Modification Age chart
Click Web on the Files by Type chart

They help you to remember how you arrived at the results you’re seeing.
Breadcrumbs help you navigate
Now if you want to navigate back up, you can click anywhere along the breadcrumb list.
For example, if you click File Size: 0-10Kb in the breadcrumbs, your data will reflect just the first selection you originally made (files smaller than 10 KB) and the breadcrumbs become:
